Quai 108, restaurant in Saint-Lazare Paris
A gourmet address
Are you looking for a gourmet address that's more bistro than gastro and refined without being stuffy? An unmistakably Parisian place that pulls off the trick of being elegant and laid-back at once? Somewhere that opens 7 days a week to serve both satisfying snacks and fabulous sit-down meals? Complete with a charming terrace to make the most of sunny days?
Welcome to Quai 108, the new meeting place for epicureans, filled with the creative energy of our Chef Mathieu Afonso!
Industrial decor and 19th-century moldings
Opened in September 2023, our establishment is located on the doorstep of Saint-Lazare train station, in the heart of a lively district renowned for its great shopping and cultural attractions.
A must-visit destination with its charming and spacious terrace (look out for the splendid marquee that adorns the entrance to the Hilton Paris Opera, and it's just on the left), our restaurant is open every day from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM (and from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends).
You'll love the interior, with its winning blend of industrial decor and New York-style exposed brickwork, cozy banquette seating and arty lighting, all interspersed with 19th-century moldings that remind you that this is indeed an outstanding historic neighborhood of the City of Light.
Quai 108 from morning to evening, all the flavors of the world
Here are our chef's brand-new creations: flame-grilled octopus, country terrine with foie gras, BBQ-marinated poultry, duck breast with figs, cheesecake and more. Not forgetting the dish of the day, that Mathieu Afonso is continually updating to reflect his latest inspirations, with recipes drawn from the great Parisian bistro tradition.
To accompany your meal, Frédéric Lalos, Best Craftsman of France, has created a bread just for us: a symbol of French food culture to be enjoyed together!
Finally, let’s not forget Mathieu Afonso’s signature touch, with his herbs, spices, and sauces that make each dish unique—roasted wasabi sesame, smoky barbecue sauce, Espelette pepper, coriander, and homemade pickles...
Mathieu Afonso, daring and exacting
Quai 108 is fortunate to have an exceptional chef at its helm. Mathieu Afonso, Head Chef of the Hilton Paris Opera, has taken over the reins of Quai 108, bringing to it creative energy and rigor in equal doses. Having worked in a series of prestigious establishments such as Ladurée, the Dôme du Marais and the Hôtel Scribe, he has broken the mold to innovate, revisit and explore.
As demanding as his customers, he likes to summon up dishes we think we know, to give them that sideways step that is the signature of true enthusiasts. Taste his street-food: it'll take you far away.
